Scoil Cholmcille (“we,” “our,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when connecting our school’s Facebook Page to our website.
What we access
With authorization from a Page administrator, our application may access Facebook Page content such as posts, images, permalinks, and timestamps.
We do not access personal Facebook user data, profiles, or friends.
How we use this data
We display the latest Facebook Page posts on the school website to share updates with parents, guardians, and the wider community.
Data is used solely for this purpose and not for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
Storage and retention
Post data may be cached temporarily (up to 24 hours) to improve performance.
We do not permanently store Facebook data.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share Facebook data with third parties.
Data is only displayed on our website.
Cookies and analytics
Our site only uses cookies required for technical operation.
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Data Deletion Policy
If you have authorized our app to access your Facebook Page and wish to revoke and delete any associated data:
Revoke access yourself
- Go to Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations.
- Find the Scoil Cholmcille app and remove it.
- This immediately revokes our access and stops all data access.
Request manual deletion
- Email info@sncholmcille.ie with your Page ID and details.
- We will confirm and delete any cached data within 48 hours.
What data is deleted
- Cached posts, images, permalinks, and timestamps.
- Any temporary logs containing Page data.
What data is not stored
- We do not permanently store Facebook data.
- We do not collect or store personal Facebook user information.
